Safety & Lifeguard Information

Lifeguards are deployed daily during peak summer as part of the Blue Flag program:

  • 1–8 December: 09:00 – 17:00

  • 9 December – 31 January: 07:00 – 19:00

Pet & Dog Policy

  • Dogs are not allowed on the sand.

  • Leashed dogs are permitted on paved beachfront walkways.

  • Water-based: Surfing on the renowned right-hand point break.

  • Beach-based: Sunbathing, relaxing, and enjoying the scenic amphitheater.

  • Wildlife & Views: Coastal views perfect for photography and spotting marine life.

Tips & Visitor Advice

  • Arrive early during holiday periods to secure a good spot, as this is a very busy and popular beach

  • Exercise caution when swimming outside lifeguard hours or in the open ocean.
