We’re Divan and Chara, husband and wife, with a love for good coffee, road trips, and discovering new places. One of our biggest dreams is to travel and experience as much of the world as we can. But more than that, we deeply value community — sharing life with family, friends, and the people around us. We believe in living for others and not only ourselves, and in doing everything with passion and excellence.
Discover was born out of this heart. We wanted to create a platform that makes it simple for both locals and tourists to find places and things worth experiencing. A space that encourages people to step out together — as families, friends, and communities — and enjoy what’s around them in an easy, uncomplicated way.

Our vision is to see discover expand into every region of South Africa and, in time, grow into an app that makes discovering even easier. While we know a few similar platforms exist, we believe discover carries a unique purpose. We’re committed to developing, updating, and stewarding it well.
