Directions & Access Instructions

Following the map link below will take you just outside Knysna. Turn into the township road marked Noetzi — you’ll only pass through a small section of the township before continuing along a well-maintained gravel road. The road passes alongside plantations and the prestigious Pezula Estate until you reach the parking area at the bottom. Take in the views as you drive!

From the parking area:

Walk down the pathway to your left (facing the way you entered). At the start you'll pass the the gate marked Pezula Castle. Continue down this path.
At the fork:
- Right: Leads to stairs (steep but manageable) toward the beach.
- Left: Leads toward the lagoon area, where bathroom facilities are also located.

You’ve arrived — enjoy the views and take your time exploring!

Tips & Visitor Advice

Bathrooms are available but bring your own toilet paper just in case.
Pack light, ideally in a backpack, to make the walk down and back up easier.
There are no shops or other amenities nearby, so plan ahead with food, water, and essentials.

This beach is part of the Noetzie Conservancy—visitors should take all litter with them and respect the environment.
