Sedgefield Lagoon & Beach

The Sedgefield Lagoon Mouth Lookout is a calm spot where the Swartvlei Lagoon meets the Indian Ocean. There are benches to sit and enjoy views of the lagoon, beach, and Gericke’s Point. A short boardwalk takes you down to the beach, making it easy to reach the water. Visitors can explore rock caves, discover tidal pools, or simply float down the river on inflatable devices. It’s an especially great spot for families with younger children to enjoy both adventure and relaxation.
