Herolds Bay

Herolds Bay is a charming seaside village along the scenic Garden Route, featuring a picturesque cove, historic tidal pool (built in 1935), and rock pools that are ideal for children and families. Safety & Lifeguard Information

Lifeguards are deployed daily during peak summer as part of the Blue Flag program:

• 1–13 December: 09:00 – 17:00

• 14 December – 31 January: 07:00 – 19:00

Pet & Dog Policy

• Dogs are not allowed on the sand.

• Leashed dogs are permitted on paved beachfront walkways.
