Goukamma Lagoon

The Goukamma Nature Reserve lagoon in Buffels Bay is ideal for kayaking, SUP, or simply playing in the water. Entry is free, and the area offers picnic spots and space for a braai. During high tide, the water can reach the picnic area, so keep an eye out. Bathroom facilities are available but not always in the best condition, so it’s recommended to bring your own toilet paper or cleaning supplies just in case.
