This section of Buffels Bay offers a quieter alternative to the main beach, making it ideal if you’re looking to escape the holiday crowds. Tucked into its own bay, the water may be less calm than the main beach but is still suitable for swimming. Basic bathroom facilities are available, though they are sometimes locked outside of peak season. You’ll find this spot on the way into Buffels Bay, just before reaching the main beach and town.

• Dogs are allowed on the beach, provided they are kept on a leash.

• During peak seasons, dog walking is restricted to before 9:00 AM and after 5:00 PM to ensure the safety and comfort of all visitors.
